its a great shoe - 100% original birkenstock - i would have given 5 stars but the buckle seemed to be a bit discolored, but for the money it's hardly noticeable. -- great birki for the price

I have been a long time wearer of birkenstocks in the 'madrid' style. They are comfortable and cute. Be careful with the sizing if you are new. I go by the European sizing. I'm 38 which birkenstock call a 7 but I take a 7.5 -8 in other shoes which is European 38 or 39. If I bought the size they say is equivalent to an 8 it would be huge! They take a few days to feel normal when you 1st try them because of the molded footbed but give them a few days to get flexible and they are great. -- Great sandal - try them!

these shoes are very true to size and feel like they were made for my foot. I will not ever wear inexpensive flip flops again! -- I love these shoes!
