I bought these boots right after Christmas,2009. They really are the best boots I have ever owned. The price was fantastic, yes...but I was so surprised at how comfortable they were, from the time I put them on. They run pretty true to size, but if you are a 1/2 size, go up(7 1/2 order 8). -- Great Boots at a Great Price

I love these boots! I received them today and haven't taken them off. I assumed with the extra padding for height that they would either be very heavy or it would feel "boxy" to walk in them. Neither is true. They are so lightweight and cushion-y, not to mention that the bottom is constructed so that your walk is normal and not at all the box type you sometimes get from high shoes. Some might think that they will end up looking so cheap, for being such a feel good shoe for such a decent price. But they don't. They are very well put together, very sturdy, extra cushion around the ankle. They FEEL good. I will say that they should be ordered a size larger than you normally wear and that you'll need a high sock. Otherwise, if you're wearing anklets or something like that, your ankles will stick inside and the tongue will move around, which can be a pain. Still, I've ordered Volatile before, do now, and will continue to. I'm already looking for another set of boots like this one. LOVE THEM! -- Lightweight Height

I bought these for my 11 year old daughter. She wants to be a goth scientist like Abby from NCIS but those platform boots cost way too much for what may end up being a short-lived fashion phase and they will just be outgrown in a few months anyway. These shoes are the perfect price, so light (I was afraid of her clunking around the house in heavy boots) and to use her words, "they roll perfectly" so she doesn't have to high-step to walk. They aren't shiny or cheap-looking and have nice deep tread so I don't worry about her slipping when it's snowy out. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone and would have spent more for them for how nice they are. -- Everything we wanted

These boots are very comfortable to wear all day. Regular cleaning is needed to keep them looking good. Do be sure to buy the next size larger as the seller recommends (I did) and they will fit without "toe bump". -- Comfortable boots
